Having trained with another school (a mistake!), it was a refreshing change and surprise to meet such a friendly, professional bunch - my future training will ONLY be with SubAquaholics!

Scuba Event Linda

Just wanted to drop you a short note to say thank you so much for organising a great weekend, would love to do again soon !!

Scuba Event Dan

Guys, just wanted to say a BIG thank you to all the team at Subaquaholics. Everyone made me feel very welcome & always took the time to talk through any queries I had. Also another big thanks for taking me through the Open Water course before my holiday with such short notice, I can't wait to jet off & get diving! I'm sure to be back to you guys for further training later in the year!

Dive School / Kids

The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool by doing exciting scuba AquaMissions. Have you ever wondered what it's like to dive with flashlights, take digital pictures underwater or float effortlessly like an astronaut?

PADI Seal Team Programme in BristolThere are AquaMissions that introduce you to wreck, navigation, buoyancy, underwater photography, environmental awareness and more.

In addition, it provides parents with a structured program that lets their children develop skills, learn about the aquatic environment and have a lot of good, clean fun. This is also an excellent way to introduce kids to scuba diving prior to full Open Water Diver certification.

Subaquaholics run the Seal team programme every Friday evening at Thornbury leisure centre.

PADI Seal TeamThe Equipment
Don’t worry about the equipment, we bring it all with us, all you need is your swimming costume/trunks and a T’shirt or thin wetsuit for the pool. All of our equipment is designed especially for kids and is fully serviced every 6 months. The only piece of equipment that is useful to get if you have a birthday coming up is your own mask and snorkel.

Course materials
The course follows a structure written by PADI and there is a logbook and DVD available to accompany the course. This is not essential as it is an additional £40, however it has loads of useful information all about the aquamissions, plus it teaches the kids how to record their diving history. The £40 includes a recognised certification card a bit like a driving licence once they have completed the first 5 aquamissions.

PADI Seal TeamWhat happens next?
The course can keep running for as many weeks as you like as there is always something to learn. After your first 5 weeks you can qualify as a Seal Team Diver. After a further 10 sessions you can qualify as a Master Seal team diver. The next stage is the junior openwater course where we take you to the sea! Have a look at these photo’s of our first Seals in the Sea in Devon

Before you jump in the water we need to cover some paperwork, please can you ask your parents or guardians to complete the attached medical questionnaire and liability release forms, they need to be signed, dated and returned prior to the start of the course. We may take a few piccies along the way so could you all sign the photo form if you are happy to have your photo taken.
